Hate to be a poser

I really hate to be a poser on this blog, but I swear, I was working on my chevron scarf yesterday and I did like the knitting and the colors, but the only thing I didn't like was the yarn. It was sock yarn and definitely not soft enough for even my worst enemies neck. I should have taken a picture of it, but out of frustration I ripped it out faster than you can yell "Gimme the camera". So, sorry, I have nothing to show for. But I know there is something in my stash just waiting for me to find it to knit it into this great scarf. It's just a matter of running into it.

Hi Angelika, Why don't you try a DK weight. I have seen a chevron made form Cider Moon's Galcier and it is GORGEOUS! I absolutely LOVE Cider Moon's yarn (and NO i DO NOT work for them - ha ha!!, it is soft and squishy and wonderful in scarves! I am currently making Argosy with it and it has gotten tons of compliments! Good Luck!
